Nagas
Nagas are half human, half snake people. There is many different species of them in Felarya, from the enigmatic diamond nagas to the rare Hydranagas with three human bodies attached together. Their size vary a lot as well, to 6 feet "head to ground" to about 120 feet head to ground and 360 feet long in total for the biggest specimens. Nagas usually have a lifespan of about 300-400 years but on Felarya they live as long as they are not killed.
Giant Nagas
They are a lot more rare than their smaller counterpart. They are not really a race and are comprised of many sub-groups.
Giant nagas are all very dangerous and pose an enormous threat for adventurers in Felarya. They are fast, agile, surprisingly silent for their size and very voracious. They love to ambush convoys and to hunt small groups of humans. A giant naga eat about 5 humans a day to stay healthy and much more to be satiated. If the hunt is poor, they can switch to animals and some have even included vegetables and fruits in their diet.
In battle, a naga use bare fists or weapons but above all: his/her tail. The tail of a naga possess tremendous strengh, especially when swung and their scales are very solid. However nagas are usually peaceful toward other creatures and not really a war-like race. The exception would be toward dridders which are their natural enemies since time immemorial.
Most nagas are potential powerful spellcasters, however their talent appear rather late in their life ( besides ice and emerald nagas to who magic is as natural as breathing ) Nagas have usually a favored element to them. This means they feel more at ease and in focus when in contact to it. They also are more prone to learn magic based on this element and more resistant to it as well.
