People of the bowl

The Jungle Bowl is home to a very robust and long lived people. The original occupants of this land (Humans) were whisked to Felarya when their rolling farmlands were 'switched' with that of a large granite mountain in the Frostpeaks at the edge of the Great marshes.

This makes the population of the Bowl primarily human. However, one of the largest figures in the Bowl is Cypress. A dryad, she was raised by the humans there and has become sort of their central figure. You see an odd quirk with the people of the bowl is that they are all connected through Cypress's link. This makes them a very tight night yet open society. Often all the people will feel the same general background emotion; depending on how strong a link they maintain. Allowing the people of the Bowl to have shared highs and lows of emotion. It also makes them very coordinated; an attack on one is an attack on all, and will be dealt with swift deadly force.

Despite their agrarian and naturalistic appearances (many live in the trees)the people of the Bowl are quite technologically advanced. This is in part for two reasons, one the world they came from was moderately developed already. The second is Jhon Gallanfreed (another important figure). He imparted the knowledge of his own people to them when he chose to live in the bowl some 500 years ago. however they keep most of this technology in an inconspicuous underground facility called the Hall. All told the people of the Bowl are probably one of the strongest peoples in Felarya. An assault on the bowl by a large predator can easily be fended off, and a army would have difficulty just reaching the tree line. However due to the strong bonds between the people, there isolated location, and there relative secrecy; the bowl remains largely unknown to most of Felarya.
