The Pyrale mountains is a huge volcanic region far east of the map, sprawling past the great marshes and farther south. Its most noticeable feature is the cobalt blue stone that compose most of it. The mountains are rather hard to travel and many of its trails are steep with frequent landslides and many chasms and rivers of lava to cross. The mountains are very rich in minerals, metals and gems unique to Felarya, and a complex mining network sprawls underground.

The soil of the whole region is affected by very strong geomagnetic disturbances and most standard machinery will immediatly malfunction when entering the zone. Sometimes a wall of blue stone will suddenly temporarily become a magnet, attracting or repelling metals. People clad in metallic armor will find themselves extremely heavy, pinned in one place until they get rid of their gear, or they will fly to find themselves stuck to a wall, sometimes from a long distance. It will sometimes sends someone fly upward, leaving him vulnerable to the Harpies.

Needless to say this magnetic anomaly and the lava make for a deadly combination. The Pyrale mountains is one of the few zone of Felaya where the environnment is even more dangerous than its inhabitants. Vegetation is scarce, like one could figure, save for everburning tree and Ice flowers

In the middle of the Pyrale mountains stand the Mont Vylkren, an immense volcano palace, residence of the lava elemental king Trazix. Several smaller volcanos are scattered around, each inhabited by a familly of lava elemental.

fire succubus appreciate the place a lot and they are mostly welcome here. For most other beings, entering the palace mean instant death because of the scorching temperature. Not unlike the Everburning palace of Faldhatée
