A calm, easy going, blind, male fairy, well skilled in sword play and magic.

Having no sight is somewhat of a blessing and a curse for him. His blindness keeps him from being lured by appearances making him almost completely immune to illusions and sneak attacks, but it also make him very sincere and brutally honest. Unfortunately this honesty is often confused for being rude or mean, making him somewhat isolated. With nothing better to do or no one to talk to, he often train and practice his swordplay and magic arts for hours.

Over the years Alvar became a true master at it, slaying monsters and duelling swordmen of every races who come to seek him and challenge him.

One day, while training by the Jewel River, Alvar heard someone crying for help near the bank. He discovered a young mermaid who had been captured in a human fishing net, and was being hauled off to base of operation. Alvar fought a great battle here against outnumbering opponents to rescue the mermaid. It was Anko, not full grown yet. The two became good friend. Being very grateful for his help Anko gave him a ring pendent that he constantly wears. Subeta seem extremely intrigued by it and tried several time to take it to examine it further but Alvar angrily brushed her aside.
