Angels

Angels are supernatural beings with the body of a human and great feathered wings. They are extraordinary beautiful, with delicate and sweet features, and their body naturally radiate a faint glow that can be turn into a dazzling light. They are universally portrayed as kindhearted, loyal and friendly. Powerful as well, and endowed with great wisdom and a legendary protective healing magic.

However these traits varies a lot from one species to another, as well as their size. From solaros, to archangels or cherubs, there is actually many kind of angels, some of them not nearly as gentle as people think...

Angels radiate an aura that reflect and magnify their mood. For example, a sad angel in a city would make all the neighbourhood sad as well.

Angels are natural ennemies and rival of succubi, though for the moment heaven and hell have signed a rather long-lasting cease-fire since the terrible Tenebris war.

Angels in Felarya

Angels are very rare in Felarya. Several of them live in various cities among humans and serve as healers, but most of those who come to Felarya are giant-sized. Such angels are rather suspicious : an angel hardly leave heaven without a good reason and once in Felarya, there is not many type of food avaible besides other living creatures. Thus their motives can be questionnable.

Some angels tasted humans one way or another ( such as damned ) and in such case, it's not rare that the angel become accustomed to it. The angel will try at first to eat other damned only, then move to the next level.. and Felarya is the perfect place for that.

So an adventurer suddenly coming across the rare and splendid sight of an angel in the Felaryan jungle may be in for an unpleaseant surprise. The differece with other predators is that the angel will always apologize before swallowing their prey... Which don't make much difference for the said prey, as an angel's stomach is definitely not more of a good place to be in than a succubus'

This fact remains largely unknown though, as the angel try to remain as discrete as possible, sometimes using magic to help it. Who could ever suspect such a pure, innocent creature anyway ?
