The Forest of Whispers is home to various tribes of Fairies, which leads into how it received it's moniker. Being as mischievous as they are, the fairies often stalk anyone who enters it, whether they want to devour them or not. It's not long, however, before the fairies become so giddy in their exploits that they begin to whisper amongst themselves, whether it's about how they plan to toy with their prey, or just joking and gossiping. And because the canopy is very thick, it creates a natural vault which resound and reverberate every noises.
This particularity usually makes adventurers very nervous. Imagine listening to two unseen fairies pondering on if they must swallow you head first or feet first..
Amazingly, even with so much fairies around there is a huge hive of tonorions underground. The fairies has never managed to get rid of them because the hive runs really deep under the surface and the place is poor in magic as tonorions naturally nullify it.
