Crisis and Anko know each other but they are not really friends. Crisis see the mermaid as a bit too chaotic to be reliable. Anko is a playful and mischievous mermaid. She is rather chaotic and known to lie a lot. She isn't really evil but she is easily bored and love to have fun, no matter if it's at the expense of others. That can range from playing dubious jokes to sowing discord. Her voice is beautiful and alluring.
Her job is officially to guard the island of the "mysterious temple" you can see on the upper part of the map. But that's a boring task so she don't care much about it and usually prefer to wander away. Actually the temple has already been defiled and pillaged several time ^^
Anko is talkative and very curious. She will engage a lot conversations with other creatures, even with preys, after making sure they can't escape. Like all mermaids she can breathe in water and is an excellent and very fast swimmer. While she can't walk on ground, she can still haul herself up there which is always very surprising and extend a lot her area of "action"
Her method of hunting is either to attack treasure-hunter's ships that sail her river by shaking them and making the crew fall in water, or to place herself under bridges, ike the one leading to the island she guard, and open her mouth wide to show adventurers a good view of her throat, as a mean to destabilize them. If it don't work she can extend a bit her sticky tongue to catch her preys, like a frog. Anko enjoys a lot to feel her victims struggle and trash about in her belly during her digestion. So after a good meal she would just drifft away on her back, floating at the surface while taking a nap to avoid drowning her preys.
