The entities known as " Correctors" are strange and mysterious planewalker beings appearing in flowing grey cloaks that conceal entirely their bodies. Just watching a Corrector standing is enough to make any creature uneasy. It's as if they simply don't belong here, and that their mere presence is an aberration in the reality. They are said to be a very ancient race, with the role of watching over time and space, and they are the representation of order in its most absolute form. They are extremely powerful entities, with an incredible control over dimensional magic, and they have no qualms whatsover to use it in order to erase anything they deem a threath to the equilibrium of the universe. their fundamental belief is that too much dimensional anomalies will end up tearing the fabric of reality appart, leaving free rein to the "outer-ones", nighmarish things dwelling on the "other side" of the reality, so to speak, who constantly try to find a breach. When they do, the casulaties are generally counted by hundred of billions and entire worlds are destroyed.

For that reason, the Correctors take a dim view on Felarya and its unstable nature, and soon decided it should be removed from existence altogether, the world being a potential weak point in the fabric of Reality. However, for unclear reasons that are perhaps related on how Felarya was created and its very nature, they couldn't simply destroy it from afar. Instead, the Correctors had to enter it first and defeat its guardians. However the Guardians were apparently expecting them and were very well prepared for their arrival, presenting them with a formidable defense. The correctors were clearly surprised by such a fierce opposition and had to retreat temporarily. They came back though, and it was the beginning of an incredibly violent and ferocious conflict, with the Correctors seeking to kill every Guardians, inflict the maximum possible dammages to Felarya, and lay waste to the world.

The Great war

( name pending )

It's very difficult to say exactly how the events unfolded, as it goes back to millenias ago. The correctors started to attack in successive waves of very violent, massive and synchronized assaults, at dozens of locations all over the world. Helped by a seemingly endless flow of infantry, and strange and terrible weapons, the correctors struck devastating blows to Felarya over and over again, sometimes changing its face forever, and affecting entire regions for the millenias to come. Some sequels can still be seen today and the instability of Miragia forest is widely believed to be a direct consequence of a particularily violent attack. Each of those waves were cut by deceptive period of calms between them, sometimes lasting decades.

Correctors are said to have started like they always do, destroying, killing things with a coldly methodical and monstruously insensitive mindset, targetting anything indiscriminately, sentient creatures, animals and even the very landscape. They were firmly set on destroying Felarya entirely. At a point, their tactics changed however. They started to realize that they wouldn't achieve their goals without eliminating every guardians first, and more importantly, they worried that their violent and repetead attacks were progressively making Felarya even more unstable - and thus even more dangerous for the universe - than what it was. And they were faced with a growing dilemna : either destroying the world quickly and cleanly, or give up entirely. After all, better a *relatively* stable anomaly than an anomaly that is so dammaged it has become a ticking bomb.

So the correctors shifted their focus on the guardians alone, each of their attacks becoming formidable clashes among those beings.

A tactic they might have used was to corrupt the mind of Alcazath, making him erratic, demented and paranoid and turning him and his army of titans againt its creators. Titan uprising - tactic

Corrector Forces

List of Corrector forces involved in the War.

Adrims

Considered as the base ground infantry of the Correctors, Adrims are always the first to be deployed on the battlefield. They are roughly the size of an human with four sword-wielding arms, an exressionless face and sharp fangs. They are rather primitive creatures, entirely created for fighting, with very little intelligence or sense of initiative individually, being little more than mindless drones. However they are linked through an hive mind of sort which make them precise, coordinated and very dangerous in large groups.

Obliterators

One of the most terrible and most feared weapons used by the correctors. They are famous for their part in the war agaisnt the hyper-empire of Arshadas, when they anihilated the Garjandhum walking forteress and all the forces entrenched within

Those bizarre constructs look like enormous floating statues of varied appearances, but often representing three figures merged together, back to back. The figures themselves are mobile, very slowly moving their arms or turning their heads. Just seeing one of those humongous behemoth floating in absolute silence is enough to send all but the bravest warriors running. Obliterators have the capacity of attacking by creating portal through which, a ray of a formidable power will strike the target, and will very likely reduce it to dust. No one really know the exact nature of this blast, but some believe it comes from some gigantic dimensional cannons, based on another world, perhaps from the other side of the universe, that fire through portals. The Obliterator would be merely placing the portal at the right angle in order to strike the target. Their destructive power is truly immense, able to pierce mountains, vaporize cities in mere seconds. They are not very efficient at attacking small, nearby mobile targets though. It is said some obliterators were deployed in the beginning but at some point they disappeared from the battle ground altogether, the Correctors themselves fearing that their extremely destructive power could end up making the world even more unstable.
