Ironically if you manage to really anger her, she wouldn't think about eating you anymore, rather to punish you, which is not necessarily better.

Giant Naga
Size: about 75 feet from head to ground
Blond hair
Blue tealish eyes
Teal scales
60 years old

Crisis can be considered the main character of the Felaryan universe. The mouth of the logo belongs to her ^_^

She is a young, cute and carefree giant naga who enjoys life greatly and seems to always be in a cheerful mood. She possess a lovely, pretty figure and sweet and delicate facial features, with big blue tealish eyes, and long silky blond hair. She lives near a giant tree with her companion Anna, in a zone between the Chordoni waterfalls and the river north of Negav city. Despite her appearance, she is a voracious, cunning predator and a very good huntress, fast and amazingly silent. She greatly enjoys the thrill of a good hunt and loves to play with her prey like a cat with a mouse. She hunts and eats any living being small enough for her to swallow, except for all other nagas and fairies, no matter their size. This includes humans who are an important part of her diet.

Crisis

Crisis is gonna eat you !

Backstory

Crisis hatched from a lone egg in a small cave, east of the fairy pond and north of the grove of carnivorous plants. She never knew her parents and grew alone, in a very dangerous environment full of predators and natural traps. She was a wild and distrustfull litte thing at this time, constantly on the lookout and ready to jump and hide at the first alert, doing a fairly nice job at surviving. She quickly became very skilled at stealth and developped amazing reflexes. With a lot of luck, and the help of the Felaryan soil, she managed to trump death daily during a few years. This came to an end however, when she was an heart beat too late and was impaled by a tonorion. She was mortally wounded but managed to flee out of reach of the beast. She was quickly dying though, and was only saved thanks to the fairy Temi who was flying around. Luckily, the fairy happened to be one of the best healer of the region and she took good care of the small naga. Even now, Crisis conserve relapse of this episode, and is very is afraid of tonorions. Encountering a large enough specimen can throw her into a state of panic.

Temi grew attached to the little naga and took her to her pack. Crisis received lot of care and affection here, and made many life-time friends among fairies and dryads. Since then, she considers fairies as her second kin and pays them a lot of respect. She would never harm one under any circumstance. More than once, she wished she had wings and could fly like her friends.

Character

Crisis' cheerful and playful mood comes directly from these fairies, as well as the innocent and naive look she has. That's partly because Felaryan fairies love to trick adventurers this way: appearing as tiny, weak, and fragile creatures, but becoming giants in the blink of an eye with their size-shifting powers. Because of the way she was raised, Crisis possess a lot of fairy logic in her, and tend to adress things the way a fairy would. Her friend Vivian finds that very cute, while Anna finds it annoying.

In a sense, most of other nagas, are more "human" than Crisis. This is probably why she really attached herself to Anna and now considers her as a sister. She is litterally fascinated by her partly because Anna shows her a more human and down-to-earth practical aspect that Crisis probably missed in her childhood.

Crisis loves to have fun and to have a good time above all. Mixed with her cheerful nature, sheer optimism and childish playfulness, this may leads some into believeing she is naive and a little airheaded. When you know Crisis well, you realize that this is not true, and that she is a LOT less naive than she appears. She is well aware of that, and enjoys tricking her world with it. It became a sort of game actually. A lot of things are a game to Crisis.

Her mind can be very sharp on some point, and very clumsy on others. For example, she is famous for having a hard time with anything related to technology. This is like another world to her, fascinating, neat and all, but utterly incomprensible. Despite Anna's numerous attempts at explaining it, She just don't get it, even the basics.

Her kindness is very authentical though, and she will always help a friend in need, sometimes discretly, not resting until she succeed. She can be surprisinlgy tactful when it's important.

Hunting habits

Criss is extremely voracious and has quite a reputation in Felarya... Countless of humans and nekos ended in her digestive track, and Delurans uses her name as a bogeyman. She was used to this diet since a young kid, the fairies feeding her shrunken humans they caught, that the little naga gulped happily. Crisis sees humans as little cute, tasty and wriggly thing that belongs in her belly, just too small to be considered a person. She always swallows them whole and alive because there is nothing she enjoy more than feeling preys squirming in her belly during her digestion.

If you encounter her, you are in very, very deep troubles and your chances to not end as a snack are very slim. First, she must not be too hungry or your case is almost lost by advance ( Hearing her stomach growl is a sign of impending doom ! ). When hungry, Crisis tends to think with her stomach and little things matter more than filling it.

The key point is to get out of the "food category", where every humans and other little creatures belongs by default, between the moment when you are caught and the moment where you will be swallowed... in short : being very convincing very fast, or catching her interest in some way, making her forget she wants to eat you somehow. That's technically not impossible but few remain cool-headed enough when confronted by her to even speak coherently. Obviously things like: fighting, threatening, flattering, begging, and trying to reason with her won't work because she has seen it countless times.

Wriggling a lot before her eyes is to be avoided as well as, it can trigger an irresistible urge for her to put you in her mouth right away. To make matters worse, Crisis is very playful and will not hesitate to play dumb and make her prey believe that there is a glimpse of hope and that they have managed to convince her, right before gobbling them up ! She will never tease for very long though, the saliva building in her mouth making her unable to talk back without giving it away at a point..

Her favorite prey are nekos, especially girls. Crisis find them even tastier than humans, and they are smart and agile, making chasing them interesting and fun.

It's worth noting that Crisis possess an extremely strong and resistant stomach, even for a naga. It can easily withstand the explosion of a grenade and will digest just everything that finds its way there. Even a marine in a armored titanium exo-skeleton would have no chance of survival...

The very rare humans that manage to get out of this "food category" however, have almost nothing to fear from Crisis anymore. Exactly how her mind work is unknown but once she regards a human as a person, she will never get back on it. Moreover if this human design another as a friend, Crisis will abide by it and not eat them. In this case, the person is not totally out of the food category though, and Crisis will often unvoluntarily licks her lips or eye them hungrily ! They are mostly safe though. Crisis has several human friends and her best friend Léa is human.

Contrary to some other nagas, Crisis never unhinge her jaws to swallow large preys. She is not used to it and finds it painful.

Like and dislike

Crisis is afraid of tonorions, like previously said, and feel rather uneasy toward insectoids in general. That's probably because she was raised by fairies, who regard them as dangerous, and told her frightening stories about them. On the other hand, Crisis is cautious of dridders but have no hate toward them, just like fairies do.

Crisis has a weak spot for music and beautiful voices. She also has a curious nature and absolutely adores stories, especially if it comes from a different world. That makes her all dreamy. Several humans saved themselves by being captivating storytellers and speaking about their world of origin. That was the case of Léa, Crisis' best friend.

It's very difficult to make Crisis really angry: she is not antagonist, isn't-strong-spirited and is generally afraid of confrontations, sometimes delaying one, even when she knows it's unavoidable. Still, one of the surest ways to do it is to harm one of her friends or something dear to her ( Crisis is very loyal to anybody she considers a friend ). Crisis would then "switch" into serious mode, becoming very focused on doing what needs to be done, be it a rescue or a swift kill. Ironically if you manage to really anger her, she wouldn't think about eating you anymore, rather to punish you, which is not necessarily better.

Crisis is a nature naga and thus, feel better in her element and goes along very well with Dryads. She don't possess any type of magic yet, though.
