Kahla is a clever [[elves|mist elf]], living in the northern part of the great marshes.  Her home is made in a ‘small’ cave in the mountain foothills at the swamps edge. She is a playful predator, but not sadistic or cruel.  She lived by herself for most of her life until, she meet the wayward human Jhon Gallenfreed.  Since then she has, to a certain extent, sworn off eating humans.  She currently lives amicably with her human neighbors in the [[jungle Bowl]] a few miles away, as she finds more value in their good company than satisfying her hunger with them.

Still she remains true to her Felaryan nature and remains voracious and deadly to those not under [[Cypress]]’s protection.  However, these days you might be able to talk her out of it, as long as she has already eaten of course, and she likes what you have to say.  Kahla, and for that matter most mist elves, are for some reason more willing to sympathize with their prey.  Not to the point of allowing them to get away, but they will sometimes allow them to chose their manner of death.

Kahla, like most Mist Elves, likes trinkets, treasures, and mechanical things.  She has a great assortment of weapons and materials she has acquired from her huntings.  She will spend her time playing with them or trying to make new things with them; not simple hording, she is genuinely interested in the stuff.  So if you want a ‘get out of vore’ card, you best have a really complicated doodad with you, and say you’ll explain it if she spares you (not a guarantee, but hey anything helps).

She is very secretive of her past. None of those who are close to her knows of it, and that’s how she likes it. She is not a live only in the moment person, but she doesn’t like to dwell on yesterday. Her mother is still alive but she has not spoken with her in several hundred years and has no wish to. She never knew her father; as most Mist Elves are only raised by one parent, either mother or father but never both.

The more water it takes in, the darker shade of purple it is.  It also starts to curl and fluff up with greater quantities of water.  This is an extremely handy ability since the water can be released, at will, as a fine mist. This allows a Mist Elf to always have the mist with them.
